brb watching this for the rest of my life

This past weekend my wife and dog came for a visit. I’m living out of a hotel for several months for work while my family is 2+ hours away. Yes, the dog is part of family. I’m husband to a dark haired Italian beauty and father to a slobbering knucklehead barkless beagle. The only advantage is that…
“The Nigerians were crying their guts out because they were so grateful for the mercy of God. They could not accept the fact that the two countries that invested so much to bring the salvation of Jesus to Africa are now turning away from the Christian faith. They were weeping over our worldliness, our rebellion and our flagrant rejection of the biblical values that were once our roots. They were mourning our backslidden condition. The Nigerians stayed on their faces for at least half an hour, asking God to sweep England and the United States with a spiritual awakening.”
(What Africans Prayed Last Week for America by J. Lee Grady)
Africa is praying for OUR salvation, my fellow Americans.
Let that sink in.
Hold up, the people America sees as so depraved are crying and interceding on OUR behalf?
Wow..this is really humbling and crazy. Praise Jesus. Revive our Nation Lord. Shake it. Make it scream your praises.
It’s amazing how people around the world can see what has happened to America, and American’s refuse to believe it.
Our Heavenly Father is powerful, all knowing and great. Sometimes the trials and circumstances we face here on earth seem bigger than mountains and impossible to overcome or understand.
But God is control! And there’s nothing too big, obscure or “insignificant” he can’t handle. If He can create the whole universe and cares enough to individually name stars, what makes us think he does not care about us?
I want to remind you today, through the word of God, that he does care and that he is in the midst of everything. Trust Him and rest in his power, joy and faithfulness. He does not put his people to shame.
i counted the
cost of loving you.
the price is my life.
i considered the
return on investment.
there is no loss.
No turning back.
